Recently, our Theatre Scholars had the unique opportunity to attend a performance of Marty and the Hands That Could at Coppin State University, a show that left them inspired and motivated to pursue their own artistic journeys. Our Community Day celebration brought families together through fun activities, live gospel performances, and arts-infused moments that left everyone smiling. As summer draws to a close, the LTYC team celebrated a season of creativity and community with a fun-filled trip to Kings Dominion! After a summer of inspiring our students through dance, music, and visual arts, we capped off the season with laughter and team-building, excited for the school year ahead and the continued journey of youth empowerment through the arts.

This summer, students from Harlem Park Elementary/Middle and North Bend Elementary experienced the thrill of a lifetime at the Baltimore Ravens training camp! From autographs with NFL superstars to hands-on field activities at The Under Armour Performance Center, our scholars enjoyed a VIP experience that sparked their passion for sports, teamwork, and creativity. It was an unforgettable day of inspiration and fun, and one that will stay with them for years to come!

Recently, our scholars got a VIP glimpse into the world of WWE Monday Night RAW, where they not only witnessed thrilling action but felt the power of possibility in their own lives. LTYC was thrilled to be part of the 40th anniversary of Artscape, Baltimore’s premier arts education festival! From inspiring hands-on activities at #KidsScape to connecting with the community, our weekend was filled with creativity, energy, and a celebration of youth empowerment through the arts. We can't wait to continue inspiring young minds at next year's festival!

Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) proudly celebrated the 3rd Anniversary of its Black Leading Women’s Celebration, honoring the groundbreaking contributions of women of color in leadership. This event not only recognized trailblazers like Nykidra Robinson and Shelonda Stokes but also reinforced LTYC’s commitment to empowering and uplifting Black women, fostering a community of support and recognition that continues to inspire and unite.

Join us in celebrating the incredible achievements of Black women at the Annual Black Leading Women Celebration in Baltimore! Hosted by Nicole Kirby’s CarVer Communications and LTYC, this empowering event honored DMV’s most prominent Black women in education, politics, media, healthcare, and the arts—each one making a remarkable impact. Their inspiring stories remind us of the power and potential of today’s Black women, dreaming and achieving like never before!
